How the Ranking Works
Rolling 365-day ranking
Top Chess Players totals points from eligible professional tournament results completed in the last 365 days, including tournaments exactly 365 days old.
Tournament categories
Only prestigious completed tournaments are included. Each validated tournament is assigned Majors or Masters before it can award ranking points.

Player profiles
Each player profile lists the results contributing to that player's current total, including tournament, category, completion date, finish, and points.
